Edward F. O’Keefe, CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation and the author of The Loves of Theodore Roosevelt, shares the stage with author and political strategist Karl Rove to discuss President Roosevelt’s progressive legacy, conservation efforts and complex presidency. O’Keefe discusses why Roosevelt never had a presidential library previously and why it is being built in North Dakota. The planned museum is located near the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the Badlands of North Dakota and will officially open its doors on the weekend of July 4, 2026, to coincide with America’s 250th birthday.
