'Theme and 5 Variations on Prelude 1 (Gershwin)' is my latest composition for piano solo, written in my 5th year of my composition study. It is based on Gershwins 1st Prelude, based on which I rewrote the theme and made 5 variations, each having a different musical character. I wrote it with playability and my own pianistic limits in mind. This recording was made at my piano at home.
This is the first time I upload one of my own original compositions, let me know if this is something you would like to see more of, or if it would be better to upload on a different channel.
