Director’s Statement (Excerpt)
I wrote FEED during the early days of the pandemic shortly after giving birth to my son. While parenthood brought joy, the isolation and exhaustion of that time intensified the emotional chaos many new parents experience.
Through its absurd premise of a flesh-eating alien baby, the film explores the emotional toll of parenting, gender roles, and the often overwhelming expectations placed on women.
