'Dead Man's Gun' by 'Thee Oh Sees' is taken from the band's eleventh (as Thee Oh Sees) studio album 'A Weird Exists', which was released on 12th August 2016 through 'Castle Face Records'.

The video was directed by 'Matt Yoka' and utilizes some impressive special makeup effects to turn performers into ghoulish figures, who then dance around and/or freak out to the song. Their euphoria is intercut with the cook making the drugs in a sweaty back room.

Hailing from 'San Francisco' in the US 'Thee Oh Sees' is an alternative, psychedelic, garage rock band. Their sound incorporates a wide range of rock genres including 1960's garage rock, psychedelic rock, punk rock, noise rock, art punk, and 1980's post-punk.
The band's current line-up consists of:
● John Dwyer - Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals
● Tim Hellman - Bass Guitar
● Ryan Moutinho - Drums
● Dan Rincon - Drums
'Thee Oh Sees' formed in 1997 by 'John Dwyer' who initially started the project as an outlet for his (Coachwhips, Pink and Brown and The Hospitals) to release experimental home recordings. However, 'Thee Oh Sees' evolved into a full band, featuring 'Brigid Dawson', 'Petey Dammit', 'Mike Shoun' and 'Lars Finberg'.
Over the course of several releases and genre transitions, the band have become noted for their prolific discography, energetic live shows, and whimsical visual aesthetic. The band has changed its line-up and name several times, having previously being known as 'Orinoka Crash Suite', 'OCS', 'Orange County Sound', 'The Ohsees' and 'The Oh Sees'.
In late 2013, it was announced that the band would be entering a hiatus however, in 2014 a new studio album entitled 'Drop' was released and 'Thee Oh Sees' subsequently toured as a three-piece, with 'Sic Alps' bassist 'Tim Hellman' and 'White Fence' drummer 'Nick Murray' replaced 'Dawson', 'Dammit' and 'Shoun'.
In 2015, 'Dawson' returned to the band in a studio capacity for their next studio album, 'Mutilator Defeated at Last'. Following its release, 'Dwyer' and 'Hellman' began touring with two drummers, 'Ryan Moutinho' and 'Dan Rincon' replacing 'Murray'. Touring extensively, this line-up recorded the band's seventeenth and eighteenth studio albums, 'A Weird Exits' and 'An Odd Entrances'.
