Here's an episode of 'Theatre Box' from 1981 which was later repeated as part of the Dramarama strand. It's about a mysterious deformed wrestler and stars Bill Maynard and Ray Winston. 'Death Angel' was written by Brian Glover who was a wrestler prior to becoming better known as an actor.
Judging by online conversations, I wasn't the only kid who had this programme burned into his memory forever. I was so spooked by it I turned away and missed the very end.
It's been on my TV 'holy grail' list forever so, having obtained it from the archive, here it is - finally liberated.
