Throwback footage! Here's another video of my organ concert recorded on the Yamaha HS8 Electone (organ) in the 1990's in my hometown of Doncaster, England. The organ is where playing keyboard instruments all started for me, and I didn't move onto piano until much later in life.
Here is (a very younger Neil) playing a couple of songs using the sound of a Theater Organ on the (1987) Yamaha HS8 Electone. Electronic organs throughout the 80's drifted away from the 'traditional' organ sound but with the HS-Series, Yamaha brought that sound back.
I play "I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside" which was the signature tune to resident organist at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Reginald Dixon. I then introduce another song to the audience "Goose Pimples" which was written by the (then) deputy organist at the Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer in Blackpool, Earnest Broadbent. I was fortunate to see him a couple of times in concert when I was very young.
