Welcome back to the Yamaha FS1E DX restoration series!
This is one of the most satisfying stages of any classic motorcycle restoration... it's finally time to apply the decals to the freshly painted Yamaha FS1E DX.
After months of media blasting, powder coating, repairing, refurbishing and sourcing parts, the bike is finally beginning to look like a genuine Yamaha FS1E once again.
In this episode I carefully apply the tank and side panel decals, continue the restoration and take another big step towards completing this iconic 1970s Yamaha moped.
