I realize that lots of indy movies and pop-music tends to be less than great. Yet, there are incredible artists who have and still do make great content, at the highest level, for God.

You know what's even more odd than the disregarding of the history of music? The fact that "The Friendly Atheist" (who made the original comments I'm replying to) thought that bad Christian music was actually an argument against God. Right, I know, someone is going to say it was just a joke. But it was one of those humorous things that people kinda mean. Let's be real. It wasn't "just" a joke. This is the kind of "joke" that people tend to stand by until they get confronted with how ridiculous it is. It's real force is to imply that Christianity makes you worse in some way, but countless examples show the opposite is true in so many artist's lives.
