Unfortunately, although there are lots of fantastic levels and stages in video games, there are also a fair few awful ones.

Mario has been the king of platformers for as long as we can all remember, deciding upon the absolute worst (official) Mario level from the large collection of 2D Mario platformers is a very difficult task when the quality is as consistently high as it is.

Opinions may vary on what makes a great or a terrible level, but I'm confident that my choice and the focus of this episode of Worst Levels Ever cannot be topped in terms of cheap and poorly-designed unfairness...
