When I say this is the WORST Boss In Elden Ring, I don't mean it's the most difficult. I just mean in terms of jank, ugliness, and all of that - the Golden Hippopotamus was probably the most unpleasant boss battle I've every dealt with in a Fromsoft / souls game.
