Cover-up of every kind is willfully and freely lying to ourselves and God. We find false evidence to show our way is the last resort we have; we claim our method is one of survival—a life and death situation. The worse type of cover-up is self-deception. This is when we use our free will and intellectual abilities with education, to find reasons or excurses to do the wrong thing. We justify our errors; we make universal generalizations; we become clannish and say things like, "everyone is doing it so it is ok."
