It is the summer of twenty oh eight. A newly married couple and a Spanish solo mountaineer are bored out of their minds around the base of K-Two, the "Killer Mountain." Due to bad weather conditions, dozens of people have been waiting for the opportunity to conquer the peak for two months. During this time, mountaineers from different expeditions have even developed true friendships. At last, on the last day of July nature gave its "green light," and twenty-two mountain climbers started their ascent. They stopped overnight at an altitude of seven thousand eight hundred meters at the last camp before conquering the peak. And in two days, the world media started “screaming” about the biggest tragedy on the deadly K-Two mountain. But can we blame the catastrophe only on the mountain?
