On the morning of Sunday, June 22, 10-year-old Tyler Recht of Rye set out to make history by assembling the world’s first and longest chain of LEGO® Minifigures. Through careful planning and preparation, Recht brought together a team of friends and family to help him achieve his goal on the Rye High School track.
The 1,816 pieces of LEGO® Tyler and his friends lined up achieved the record which was 69.7 m (228.67 ft).
