I've been having a lot of fun making music in the Paper Mario sound engine.
This is made possible by Mamar, a program by alex aka bates64!
So this was quite the journey. Let me explain...
A couple weeks ago I made the song "The World Revolving", the Jevil battle theme, from Deltarune in the Paper Mario soundfont using Mamar. I wanted to share it, but wouldn't some extra presentation on top of just the song be cool?
So I started messing with the modding tools and every step along the way there was another "wouldn't it be cool if". Didn't take long for me to decide and try to put in pretty much the whole battle.
No battle mechanics are implemented yet, but I put in enough stuff to finish my original goal of showing off the music track with some extra presentation. I might still implement a whole battle since I made it this far anyway right? be sure to lik and suboob for that I guess

No, I am not "making a mod". Just having fun. A lot of it.

Paper Mario TTYD64 is a mod for Paper Mario 64 created by elDexter, the creator of the Black Pit mod!
This mod also has a built in randomizer and hard mode. Lets do both at the same time and try to come up with some off the wall strategies with our random items and badges!

The hard mode part is pretty simple. All it does is double enemy attack power and HP. This is slightly harder than what Pro Mode or Double Pain do since guarding only reduces damage taken by 1. Also I think its technically called very hard mode since theres also a mode that increases attack power and HP by 150%. But I didnt wanna make the title any longer than it already is.
The randomizer randomizes every item/badge thats in a block or chest. It also randomizes items held by enemies. Yes, they CAN hold badges too. We kind of ignored the randomizer tooltip, so we dont know any of this yet this recording session.

My playthrough of this mod will be pretty much a blind experience. I had heard whispers on the wind about it, but I have no real idea what to expect. I also have no real idea about what currently possible in the remake modding-wise. So Im excited to see whats in store!
I am joined by the classic combo of Lenny and Kappy. Feels like Pro Mode was just yesterday.
also yes the first couple episodes have issues with input lag oops

Paper Mario: Star Nova is mod for Paper Mario 64 by NicTube thats a complete new adventure!
It has a complete new story, partners, enemies, bosses, THE LIST GOES ON!
Im going into this mod pretty much blind. I didnt even watch the reveal trailer, nor did my co-comms Kappy & Lenny. Really excited to see what it has in store!
Keep in mind that the mod just released on May 3rd and is still receiving active updates and bugfixes.
