Back in 1976, Elder Beverly Staton stood as an intercessor for my wife and I when we first came to Christ. We were babes in the faith and she was among those who covered us in prayer during a very important season of spiritual formation.
To see her now, 50 years later, serving as one of the elders at CCC is a beautiful reminder of how God weaves people into our story for a reason.
Her faithfulness is a testimony. And during Women’s History Month, I’m grateful for women like her whose spiritual labor leaves a lasting impact.
