A mercenary, Hans of Cidaris, hires Geralt to slay the archgriffin, Opinicus, in the forest near Oxenfurt. Geralt can find out Hans and his crew received a large advance payment from the City Council of Oxenfurt to kill the monster earlier. This information can be used to receive more payment from Hans at the end.
