The Witch Sisters Dreadtime Stories as performed as part of Cedar Point amusement park’s HalloWeekends Tricks and Treats Fall Fest.
@00:00 Purple Witch Phlemigna’s story time on Sun Oct 17, 2021 at 4.20pm performed inside Fort Sandusky in the Witches Hollow shed formerly the Leather Shoppe. The Witches perform individually in the Fort. Purple Witch Lucy is in Camp Spooky/Snoopy.
@07:25 Orange Witch Herb inside Hotel Breakers Lobby on Fri Oct 1, 2021 at 8.30pm. 'The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown' is looped every HalloWeekends season on the Breaker's lobby monitor. The title screen audio is from a clip I don't show of the Witches entering down the hallway in 'attract mode' to gather children at the same time. It serendipitously matched Witch Lucy on the monitor. The showtime images were on the Breaker's rotunda info & promo wall monitors. I didn't know the Witches would perform there until I saw those. They shot their first promo photo in front of Breakers. The rotunda is in the back on the beach side. The show logo is well designed. The fonts are classic House Industries HouseofDeath and HouseofTerror. The 'dark and stormy night' clip outside Breakers rotunda is from a previous season after it rained.
@14:35 Green Witch Isador also featuring Herb helping with sound effects inside Hotel Breakers Lobby on Fri Sep 24, 2021 at 9pm was the first story I shot. The video is grainy since the compact camcorder is shooting in low light. It works fine for these Halloween shows. The Breakers storytimes featured all three Witches dressed in capes during each show. I shot this from the 2nd floor photo gallery which they change for HalloWeekends. I didn't know how close kids would be and wanted them out of the frame so I zoomed in from there but was able to get Herb in as a result. The lobby is noisy but Isador has a strong voice.
@16:25 Phlemigna’s door bell was fun. Didn't know she was going to do that. I just panned the camera.
@18:30 Isador’s reaction was funny when some kids were leaving right before the end of the story.
They all play their characters very well as did last season’s.
@19:45 Hotel Breakers rotunda traditional ceiling lighting bat gobo pattern that's always cool to see but is absent this season so I show them in the 2019 season. Update: They put the bat pattern up when I was there the following week. The crickets chirping audio is from a separate video shot on Frontier Trail.
If it's a fun HalloWeekends show like this I spend a little more time on it. Families like The Witch Sisters. The performances and kids participation are engaging in all the videos as well as last season's.

Why do Witches appear in threes? Shakespeare's Macbeth three fate-deciding ‘Weird Sisters’ aka 'Wayward Sisters' is based on Greek, Roman, Norse mythology's trio of divine female arbiters of destiny. (Macbeth I knew ie. "Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble." I haven’t read it in a long-while. It's debatable whether they decided his fate outright. Or just commented on the proceedings like a mom that wouldn’t shut up during a performance. The rest of the 411 I googled). imho, the name "Herb" is a play on words of Herbaceous ie. Herbs used in a Witch potion. Poison Ivy can be Herbaceous flexible stem growing above the ground. The other Witch names are Phlemigna and Isador (or Isadore).

The first Cedar Point Shows experienced were HalloWeekends ‘05 Poe’s Trio of Terror, then Red Garter Saloon’s Monsters Rock! A $1k Sony TRV30 MiniDV Camcorder was bought to transfer 8mm Cedar Point film to tape. It was used to record the shows in ‘06.
