Speaker John Ash is an artist and researcher interested in how we can use AI to support our collaborative sensemaking. He has been exploring the potential of using a type of AI called an iris as an interface for collective journaling, reflection, prediction tracking and knowledge pooling.
In this session, we will explore how AI can help us make sense of the world around us. We will look at how AI can be used to support collaboration and introspection, as well as generate new ideas and resolve conflict. We will also discuss how AI can help us build stronger relationships by encouraging deep listening. Finally we will explore how irises can act as oracles by generating predictions from the wisdom of the voices flowing into it. Irises learn this capacity by attending to which voices predict the best over time.
