What sets this book apart is its place within the series – it's often referred to as 'Dark Tower 4.5' as it nestles between the fourth and fifth books.
In "The Wind Through the Keyhole," we follow Roland Deschain, the iconic gunslinger, as he and his ka-tet seek shelter from a brutal storm. During this respite, Roland recounts a story from his youth, offering a glimpse into his early days as a gunslinger. But there's more – within this tale lies another, a fable known as "The Wind Through the Keyhole." and for me... this is where things fall apart. As you'll see, I REALLY don't like fairytales.
