Scotland has a way of keeping you on your toes.

In this second chapter of my solo road trip across the country, I travel through the incredible landscapes of Torridon and Assynt, where every hour seemed to bring a completely different kind of weather. Rain, hail, sunshine, and golden light all became part of the experience, reminding me that some of the best moments happen when you stop trying to control the conditions and simply embrace them.

Along the way, I drive the legendary Bealach na Bà, wander through Torridon's dramatic mountains, discover hidden waterfalls, and finish the day watching golden light fall across the ruins of Ardvreck Castle.

This trip continues to surprise me in ways I never expected.

This film is part of a three-part series I created in collaboration with VisitScotland, exploring Scotland through cinematic storytelling and slow travel. Watch the first video here: youtu.be/BYUnzQe10L8?si=tFBz-uyPTnbYTVww
