Lyrics:
Another road, another night,
the elegy of meadows,
the same old moon, a bit more bright,
a mirror of deceitful light,
a landscape full of shadows.
Beside me you are weaving dreams,
your breath creating silence.
It almost beats the audio streams,
that talk 'bout crimes and violence.
The moon is frightening majestic,
its silver light is mere deception
the whole gestalt's darkly travestic,
reality is just perception.
Strange enough, I am not tired
but unexpectedly excited.
It's like my nerves are freshly wired,
I am a Moonchild who's been sired,
all of a sudden second-sighted.
Proverbially or not, time's flying,
why are we home already?
Inconspicuously night's dying,
I feel somehow unsteady.
My watch tells me six hours were
pulled out from under my feet.
There's something I forgot, I swear...
Seconds ago it was still there.
Then I see your empty seat.
The moon is frightening majestic,
its silver light is mere deception
the whole gestalt's darkly travestic,
reality is just perception.
