Some 20 kilometers south of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, in the province of Walloon Brabant, there is a beautiful region of open fields and dense woodland, encompassing the municipalities Waterloo, Braine-l'alleud, Lasnes, Rixensart,... Incidentally this is the place where on Sunday 18 June 1815 the French Army, under the command of Napoleon Bonaparte, was defeated by both the Anglo-allied Forces, led by the duke of Wellington and the Prussian army, joining in on the French flank. A lot of Belgians have a tendency to travel halfway around the world, hoping to find some beautiful nature, without really knowing how beautiful their own backyard is. Since I have gotten to know this region quite well, I tried to shoot some video to capture the beauty of this place. #dji #drone #belgium
