Here's a complete broadcast of an edition of The Warren Freiberg Show, hosted by the man himself along with his wife, Libby Collins. Among the guests in this installment is local legend Larry Charet.

And now an episode of - "Fuzzy's All-Stars". Meet Larry Charet. He was the owner of "Larry's Comic Book Store", the first comic specialty store in Chicago and one of the first in the country, which closed in 2002. The store opened in April of 1972, and was run by Larry at the same location - 1219 West Devon Avenue - for 30 years. He lived upstairs, where as legend tells, he recorded a lot of wonderful stuff on early home video (Betamax). Warren Freiberg, on the other hand, was largely a radio personality in the Chicagoland area. Freiberg (1940-2000) was basically known for his "extreme" and "fringe" opinions, and an interest in the paranormal; he would later turn up in little vignettes on Steve Dahl's "It's Too Early" show in 1983, providing mocking fodder for Steve and Company.

Warren introduces Libby and, between them, their first guest, analyst and communications consultant (or in today's vernacular, "life coach") Sherle Adams who, after Warren explains how he got the Kraft cameraman (30 years before), talks about being a self-starter and how she got started, about what we want to be at certain ages and when people get her act together, her seminars, showing a drawing of a circle and a small dot and how different people would see it, Warren adding slice lines to the circle, personality types, going back to Sherle explaining how she wants to help people, handing out test sheet, showing a flyer with headline "The Common Sense Approach to Selling Everything," and Warren plugging her June 4th talk at the Sheraton North Shore Inn

Commercial: Living Trust (with Warren giving his mailing address to send for a kit)

Warren reminisces about what he saw on TV in his childhood as a prelude to introducing his next guests, Larry Charet and Bob Weinberg, in connection with a coming TV Nostalgicon to be held at the Hillside Holiday Inn on June 27th and 28th; Libby speaks of recalling Howdy Doody and Ding Dong School, and making her TV debut at age 3 on Tom Duggan's show; Larry and Bob explain their motives for organizing this TV nostalgia convention (in those pre-Internet days, a lot of old TV was not readily available), a clip is shown of a 1953 edition of Carson's Cellar with a pre-Tonight Johnny Carson, Warren displays a 1955 TV Guide cover with Johnny and then-wife Jody sipping soda together and the guests speculate its worth, they discuss what will be sold at the convention, an early Howdy Doody clip (from when the show was known as Puppet Playhouse) is shown, they discuss Buffalo Bob Smith and Clarabell the Clown (the first of whom was Bob Keeshan, later Captain Kangaroo), Warren recalls the last Howdy Doody show (but gets the date wrong - it was actually 1960), a discussion of Space Patrol and a clip of that show, Libby providing the link between that type show and the "Star Wars" films, the organizers showing these programs on large screens, Warren showing a late 1950's TV Guide cover with Ronald and Nancy Reagan, and a clip from My Little Margie
