16Lizards | The Warning - River's Soul - Mother of All Rock Festival - Monterrey, Mex @16Lizards | Uploaded October 2017 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The Warning was the opening act for the Mother of All Rock Festival with several headliner bands. Recorded 07-October-2017 at about 3:15 PM at Arena Monterrey during intense heat. All the instruments were exposed to the heat and sun for some time before they came up to play. Pau burned her hands during parts when she grabbed the scorching cymbals to silence them, Dany's pants were melting on her legs and Ale almost passed out. Plus the sun was directly in their face during the entire concert. But you would never know any of this watching them, because they played through all the pain with professionalism and dignity for their fans!
There were technical difficulties as well. Ale had to have her bass wired because the remote pack overheated; the piano audio didn't work initially in a later song and you could not hear Ale during her speaking part of this song.
Sorry that I started the recording late omitting the opening line.
