My fourth and final attempt at opening titles for The Walking Dead’s eighth season in the style of ‘Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning’!
For this last version, I’ve further refined my existing titles by performing an overhaul with regards to the font & the speed of the text. I’ve implemented the ‘Trade Gothic Next LT Pro BdCn’ font in Italic, which is far closer to the look of the actual font used in the official titles for ‘The Final Reckoning’.
Additionally, I’ve included a scene from TWD as a lead-in to the title sequence, specifically the ending scene of Episode 8.07 - ‘Time for After’, where Rick discovers that the Sanctuary is no longer surrounded by walkers, and that the Saviors have got out and will be planning a revenge attack on their communities.
