Brendan Graham [b.1945, County Tipperary] is an Irish novelist and composer who has published three novels, The Whitest Flower (London, Harper Collins, 1998), an Irish No. 2 best seller; The Element of Fire (Harper Collins, 2001); and The Brightest Day, The Darkest Night (Harper Collins, 2004). This 1996 song, The Voice, was Graham's second First Place Winner in the Eurovision Song Contest where it was performed by Irish singer and musician Eimear Quinn [b.1973]. This video features a recording by Celtic Woman (A New Journey, Live At Slane Castle for PBS, 2006, DVD trk#20 and CD trk#14, 2007, Manhattan/EMI Music Group).
