I've been using the Viture Beast XR glasses since January, through early firmware all the way to the full commercial launch. After five months, a major firmware update, and testing prescription lens inserts, I have a clear pick for which XR glasses I'd actually buy. It's not the Beast.
The Beast costs $549 with a 58-degree field of view (widest in its class), 1250 nit brightness, 9-level electrochromic dimming, and built-in 3DoF tracking. I also tested Viture's $79 prescription lens inserts, which snap into the glasses. The prescription option, by the way, is a legit solution for prescription wearers.
I compare the Beast to the Xreal One S ($449) and the RayNeo Air 4 Pro ($299), both of which I've also reviewed on this channel.
