For the third leg of our trip to Belize, we took a puddle jumper with Maya Island Air from the municipal airport in Belize City to the island of Ambergris Caye a very popular and fun tour destination in Belize. We rented a very nice two bedroom condo at the Villas at Banyan Bay which is located about one mile south of town on the beach. Everyone at Banyan Bay was friendly and helpful, the beautiful property is within walking distance to town, which we walked along the beach, and not to mention there is a fantastic bakery around the corner. We enjoyed the beach bar and the live music by Tyler Allan along with delicious food from the onsite restaurant Pier 366. We also had fun at the pool, playing darts and my new favorite game, cornhole!
