MineTheFab | The Very Simple Multi Item Sorting System V2.1 - BUG FIX @MineTheFab | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 7 hours ago
FABmiss V2.1 is a simple Minecraft Sorting and Storage System. Also known as a categorizer. It's silent (except 2 clicks) fairly fast with easy acces to filter chests at your feet. It's expandable, requires no filler blocks and sorts items that stacks to both 64 and 16.
THIS VIDEO IS ONLY ABOUT VERSION 2.1 THAT CONTAINS A BUG FIX: Items not in the system sometimes ending up in chests when sorted mix in with items that is in the system. For the full showcase of the system please watch video about version 2.: youtu.be/ALz9TMxUixo
DISCLAIMER:
This system does NOT claim to be the best system or have all the same functions and benefits of other larger systems out there: The Tango Tek Multi Item Sorting System, The Mita Milo /Rapscallion Storage System, The Maizuma Games Categorizer nor to be as lag efficient as The Gnembom Lag-effective Multi-Item Sorting System - It's just another system for you to consider and it has it's own upsides and downsides.
UPSIDE: Mostly silent. No filler blocks. Very compact. 1 block wide filter slices. Relatively easy to build. Small footprint.
It should work for Minecraft 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.16.5 and 1.17
DOWNSIDE: Does not hold non-stackable items - but neither does most other systems. Semi-advanced redstone. Needs extra delay when expanded beyond 15 rows of chest.
BUILDING TIP for EXPANDING: For each row beyond the original 15 you need to add a delay of 4 redstone ticks or 8 game ticks. If you're using repeaters this should roughly translate to a repeater on 4 ticks delay for each added hopper. (Says the smart dudes in my Discord Community :-))
