Taped at Herda's Appliances in Las Vegas, in January of 1987, here is a short camera video of Sony's newest and most advanced Betamax to date, the SL-HF1000, on a dealer's shelf! Fellow videophile Art Voulo is with me, as we talk to 3 people about the newest Betamax! Art and I both bought one later that afternoon, and had them shipped to our respective homes; we were in Las Vegas for the Winter Consumer Electronics Show that week.
