The Veronicas, aka Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, are 2 twin sisters coming from the sunny lands of Brisbane, Australia. You probably remember their hit ‘Untouched’ and its beautifully heady chorus, released in 2008.
As of today, the girls are 30 years old and has made a brilliant come-back with their third album, ‘The Veronicas‘. We were lucky to meet them during their tour in Paris, and they performed for us ‘You Ruin Me‘. A new title which mixes perfectly powerful piano notes and emotional lyrics!
The Veronicas, ce sont Lisa et Jessica Origliasso, 2 soeurs jumelles qui nous viennent tout droit des contrées ensoleillées d’Australie. Vous vous souvenez surement de leur tube ‘Untouched’ sorti en 2008 et de son refrain terriblement entêtant!
Aujourd’hui, les filles ont 30 ans et signent leur grand retour avec leur 3eme album éponyme, déjà disque d’or en Australie. In 2013, Colours in the Street left us some unforgettable memories with ‘Paper Childs’, an enchanting pop anthem. 2013 marked the beginning of success for the four members of ‘Colours’: after winning the Ricard SA Live Music Prize, they went on tour all around France – at popular Printemps de Bourges and Francofolies de la Rochelle festivals among others.
2015 sounds like the year of maturity for Colours in the Street, who released their first album ‘Royaume‘ (‘Kingdom’). The band delivers brilliantly composed pop songs, with a subtle hint of rock, and marked by the unique voice of his singer, Alexandre. A pop music just the way we like it, tinged with Anglo-Saxon influences, and with softly dreamlike songwriting.

En 2013, Colours in the Street nous avait laissé un souvenir impérissable avec « Paper Child », un hymne pop tubesque et romanesque. Cette même année a marqué le début du succès pour les quatre garçons (dans le vent) de ‘Colours’: après avoir été sacrés lauréats du Prix Ricard SA Live Music, ils ont enchainé avec une tournée dans toute la France, notamment aux prestigieux Printemps de Bourges et Francofolies de la Rochelle.
2015 sonne comme l’année de la maturité pour Colours in the Street, qui sort son premier album, ‘Royaume‘. Le groupe y délivre une pop savamment orchestrée, aux subtils accents rock, et rythmée par la voix unique de son chanteur, Alexandre. Often compared to John Butler and Rodrigo y Grabriela, Blake Noble is a one-man band. He is an incredible multi-instrumentalist because he is one of very few musicians in the world who plays percussive lap tap guitar which he plays simultaneously with the Didgeridoo.

Cherub, its rather a concept more than a band. Its also the story of an american beat-maker trying to make his way into the Hip-Hop world meeting the leader of a psychedelic folk-rock band while living the life at a student party. The duo then formed, consisting of Jordan Kelly and Jason Huber, did everything possible to incorporate into their music a party spirit along with some recklessness, telling there about their daily life or some random anecdotes, but never giving in to the diktat of music styles. A bet that is proved to be once again successful with Year of the Caprese, Cherubs new album, that mixes exuberant rock, mischievous pop and sensual R&B. Curious to see what these Tennessee kids could do without anything but their guitars, we met them in Paris and placed them in front of our cameras. They didnt have any other choice but to perform one song for us, that we present to you in this new acoustic session: Tonight.")

Johnny Borrell, Razorlights singer, is back after a five-year absence. He will release on the 22nd of July his first solo album, accompanied by Zazou, a band composed of Freddie Stitz (Razorlights bassist), saxophonist Joao Mello and Darren Berry. « Borrell 1 » promises to be warm, festive and full of enthusiasm!

Klaxons will release their new album on the 16th of June. With this one, theyre doing a real return to their new raves influences and theyre meeting the challenge of making bizarre and transformative pop music, which can conquer stadiums! They admitted that the last one wasnt a fit for everyone, but they assure that with this album, they cant be wrong. The London based band is definitely back, stronger and more talented than ever.

If theres such a thing as the opposite of writers block, Joseph Arthur has it. Indeed, the Akron, Ohio-bred/Brooklyn, N.Y.-residing singer/songwriter, who once released four EPs in the span of as many months, was deep into work on two distinct albums when the music that became The Graduation Ceremony suddenly bubbled to the forefront.
Joseph Arthur is also an accomplished painter, having displayed his works in galleries around the world. His online-only Museum of Modern Arthur serves as a repository for his creations.
He did an acoustic session of his song Saint Of Impossible Causes in a gallery during an exhibition of his works!")
