Ros plays the organ and sings the Venite, part of the Christian church service written by George William Chard, Jane Austen's music teacher. This is probably the first time in 200 years it has been heard.
The church is St. Nicholas, in Steventon in Hampshire, where Austen grew up.
The organ would not have been in the church when Jane worshipped there - the interior of the church was altered by the Victorians, though some features Jane would have known still remain, such as the black memorial stone in the middle of the aisle.
