Meet-ups are the best thing about the Vinyl Community, and meet-ups don't come much better than this. This one was two-centre - Toronto, Canada, and Buffalo, NY - organised around the @MGKBOSTON summer bash.
There are a (very) small number of malcontents out there who bemoan the 'decline' of the VC and its 'traditions'. Trips to Den Bosch, Leeds, Bristol, Lincolnshire, and North America suggest that the complainers are in a tiny, and sad, bubble.
This trip to Toronto and Buffalo, last July, was a roaring success. Friendly people, who were just like their on-screen selves, were great company.
And yes, we're doing it all again next week.
It's pretty much an open invitation to anyone who wants to make the effort to attend this annual event, so why not think about planning it in for 2027, and bolt-on a holiday afterwards if you like.
