I made this video during the coronavirus lockdown, on the other side of the world, being only able to leave the house for 4hrs per week, a time when I could reflect on some of my favourite experiences from “normal” times. The Vanilla Pod has always delighted me and my guests. Not only on a culinary level, but service also being near perfect. This is not a restaurant for people who like to be interrupted with “How is everything?” The bathroom spotlessly maintained. The menu is always abundant with near-impossible choices between tempting dishes. So it she bread basket. But the vanilla bread is not to be missed.
