I'm sure this song is popping up all over your feed in all sorts of fanvids but I just couldn't resist. I knew I wanted to vid it the second I heard it and since none had been made with these two beauties yet, I had to give it a go!
I know Damon & Elena are traditionally more drama and epic feels but they do have their super cute adorable moments sprinkled throughout all the mayhem that is their lives and I wanted to showcase that with this video. Had to cut the song short cuz not all the lyrics quite matched them and there are so many choruses (it's a real challenge to find so many "rings" and "picture frames" moments...context matches got real stretched out there towards the end, lol). But I am super proud of my cut of the song! I'm not normally great at getting it to sound just right but this one was quite easy! (Major kudos to anyone who can catch the part of this cut I'm most proud of...it's a blink and you miss it moment, it's so seamless). I also experimented with split screen for the first time since I switched to FinalCut. It was tricky but I'm pleased with how it came out! I do apologize that some of the scenes got a little pixelated...for a reason I still have yet to figure out, FinalCut and season 3 of this show do NOT get along in the final render (it shows up perfectly fine in the preview window...weird). I've tried rendering so many different ways and can't seem to find a way to fix it so it is what it is (if you watch in 720p it's not as noticeable). Hope you all like it anyway!
I had hoped to finish this by the show's 10 year anniversary but life happens and it's only been 5 days so better late than never, right? lol. I will forever love this show and will ship these 2 FOREVER!
