Ezekiel 37 gives us one of the most striking visions in Scripture: the valley of dry bones. Many believe this prophecy was fulfilled when Israel became a nation again in 1948, but the Word of God points to something far greater—a future resurrection that only the Spirit of God can bring.

The Greek word for wind is pnyoo'-mah, also the same word for breath and spirit: wind: πνεῦμα (pnyoo'-mah) - the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son the spirit, i.e. the vital principal by which the body is animated a movement of air (a gentle blast) of the wind, hence the wind itself breath of nostrils or mouth Pnyoo'-mah is the Greek equivalent of roo'-akh.
Conclusion: I have a hard time understanding why evangelical Christians want to support a modern Israel as God’s chosen people when they still stand in rejection of Christ. We should be doing everything in our power to ensure that nations hears the gospel along with the rest of the world. Not until the time of Jacob’s trouble leading to Christ’s return will the national salvation program of Israel be reinstated. The Redeemer will come to those in Israel who turn from transgression, and THEN the graves will open and the dry bones will stand upon their feet born again from the dead to enter the land of Israel! God’s promises are sure, and we need to stop misinterpreting them for our own doctrinal biases.
