I’m going to be playing Utawarerumono Mask of Deception for the very first time.

For in this engaging JRPG x visual novel adventure, our lazy, unenthusiastic main character, Haku, will meet all sorts of people, whether he likes it or not.

We last left off, unfortunately indulging a very bratty princess in her whims.

But it’s not all bad as Haku has recruited both Nosuri and Ougi to his cause, as well as two very very DEVOTED twin priestess girls to his every beck and call, unfortunately

He’s going to need them though as he and his group were sent off to the battlefield to help assist against an invasion on Yamato.

And in this installment, the truth about Haku’s past will be revealed and along with a surprising declaration will leave the party stunned.
