The United States Air Force Thunderbirds soared over the skies at the New York Air Show 2024 in Montgomery New York. It's been a long time since I've seen them perform and it still amazes me how skilled these pilots are.
The Thunderbirds are the air demonstration squadron of the United States Air Force, known for their precision flying and aerial maneuvers. Established in 1953, they perform breathtaking displays of aerobatic skill, showcasing the capabilities of the Air Force’s fighter jets. The Thunderbirds fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon and are renowned for their tight formations, high-speed passes, and intricate choreography. Their performances not only entertain but also serve to inspire and recruit future Air Force personnel, reflecting the professionalism and capabilities of the U.S. Air Force.
