It's been a few years since I have visited this location just below the South side of Pen y Fan & Corn Du. Once popular with fly fishermen and photographers - offering great reflecrtions on a still day the reservoir has been empty since Welsh Water decided that the grade 2 listed dam wall would be in danger of collapse if the water was not drained - and too expensive to secure to keep the water in. Years later nature has reclaimed the land and small rivers or streams have developed naturally though the reservoir area. I watched a video a few days ago of someone wild campimng in the area and was inspired to go back and shoot it again. The weather started very wet but as I was planning on packing up the sun brightened up the scene for me to shoot some images.
