I used the reflector from an old fluorescent light fixture that I replace for the back of an acoustic guitar. The top and neck is made from quarter-sawn sycamore. The ends of the back, the fretboard, and the saddle are all made from walnut. I'm no luthier but I think it turned out pretty good with interesting tonal qualities.
