In wrath of the lich king there was a big movement in the hunter community to find a way to make their pets tank raid bosses. But one of the biggest hurdles in their way of being proper tanks was the talent Grace of the Mantis. This talent would reduce your pets chance to be crit by 4% when maxed out. But you needed 5.6% crit reduction to be immune from crits from bosses, which was required for tanking, which meant hunters had to get pvp resilience gear of all things to get that last 1.6%. So one day at blizzcon, a popular hunter blogger named Frosthiem happened to sit down to ghost crawler, and mentioned how it was a shame they didnt want pets to tank. To which ghost crawler confused, mentioned the Grace of the mantis talent was there to allow it. Turns out they had intended for it to reduce crit by 6%, and not 4%, and it just happened to slip through the cracks of everyone involved. And a few days later, the talent was changed to 6% on the beta for cata, and hunter pets were able to be crit immune in cata by themselves for the first time in history.

World of Warcraft has become infamous for its massive amount of cosmetics. In this list we’re going to be going over the rarest mounts in the entire game. This list, however, will NOT include unobtainable mounts like Gladiator PvP mounts, TCG, or Blizzcon exclusive type mounts. This list will only be going over mounts you can still obtain and how rare they are in terms of drop chance. Difficulty will also be measured, as a mount added in a new patch will technically be the ‘rarest’ in the game but only because it was just released and no one has it.
