First of all, Happy Birthday To Me!
MDZS hell is something I'll never crawl out of, I believe. And for like a year now, I have wanted to do a video for Lan WangJi's side of the relationship. Because it's tragic and beautiful all its own. Sadly, as of now, the donghua looks like it'll be skipping over all of those useful scenes from the novel. This video would not exist if not for CQL.
And ironically, I can vividly remember going into CQL convinced I'd only watch a handful of episodes and drop it. Then I fell in love with this adaption. CQL is the embodiment of "don't judge a book by its cover."
Translation for the subtitles is based on the two available versions of the series I compressed so it's less of a hassle to read. And because YT refused to accept italics in my subtitles file, it's sadly hardsubbed. Hopefully no one will mind.
