Jack Krauser is a character who's come a long way. Starting off as a mysterious man with a unknown history exist between him and Leon who had his backstory revealed in rail shooter spin off game. Who has now become a fully fleshed out rival character in the remake. In fact it's not stretch to say that Krauser has evolved to become Leon's Vergil like rival in the story of the game, retooling everything about to make a much more solid story.
