You don’t realise how many little things Irish people quietly notice… until you notice how differently people behave outside of Ireland.
These aren’t big, obvious rules. They’re the small, unspoken things — how you answer a question, how you react to tea, how you talk about money, what you wear to certain events. None of it gets called out… but it absolutely gets clocked.
As an Irish girl, I grew up with these without really thinking about them. But when you step back, you realise there’s a whole layer of social rules in Ireland that people don’t explain — they just expect you to know.
In this video, I’m breaking down the things Irish people secretly judge you for, from tea etiquette and Irish sarcasm to dating differences, pub culture, and the subtle ways people communicate. If you’ve ever wondered what Americans (and others) do differently in Ireland, or what Irish people really think but won’t say, this will give you a completely different perspective.
Some of these are small… but once you notice them, you can’t unsee them.

Irish people are incredibly polite, yet we quietly judge others for small, specific things. This comedy video highlights these observations, which often include minor details that matter more than they should! Let me know what you think in the comments below! FEED THE ALGORITHM MONSTER!
