Jaden Lake lives with autism. His father, Mike Lake is an MP from Alberta, and addresses the Canadian Parliament each year on World Autism Awareness Day. No matter their political stripe, his colleagues applaud his firsthand knowledge of the value and purpose of those who have autism. Mike says he has learned more from his son than anyone else. And happily informs us that they don’t celebrate any less, they just celebrate differently.
