As students head back to class, there's one story the University of Washington won't put in its campus tour.
On the anniversary of her death earlier this year, families learned how the university’s lab exploited her until her final days, when her body had withered under the pressure of unrelenting experimentation, and she was euthanized.
Students deserve to know what their tuition helps support. Animals deserve better than a lifetime of suffering in laboratories.
