The City of Brownsville continues working with UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley through the Collaborative Task Force of the Future to expand local opportunities for students.
Recent progress includes new four year degree programs in civil and mechanical engineering, as well as an architecture program, with future expansion of the Brownsville campus also on the horizon.
These efforts are helping align education, workforce needs, and long term growth right here in Brownsville.
