PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION
So for those that dont know, over the past couple years now Ive been able to write music for many different projects and for many different great people. One of those people has been @JoCat, who at the time wanted to get an extended version of his Crap Guide to D&D theme.
When I finished that track and sent it over I never thought it would lead to some of the most productive years of my life. I started doing more tracks for him before I started writing music for his first stream campaign, Belkinus Necro Hunt, and now his most current, Heart of Elynthi. Hes trusted me to be basically his music person for years now and hes been just a pure joy to work with. Hes one of the many reasons why Im able to call myself a composer now in the highest confidence.
The reason why Im typing all of this is that Jocat is taking a indefinite break from content creation due to a multitude of different factors. If anyone deserves a break its him. I just wanted to use this description to say this.
JoCat, Thank you.
Thank you for the many opportunities that youve given me over the years. You trusted my musical ability when I wasnt too certain and youve made me want to push myself to become a better musician and composer. You have been one of the best people Ive worked with in any field. I know theres still a lot of work to be done before you officially take your break, but if anyone deserves a honest break from all of this, its you.
Youve made such a big impact on my life and I honestly can not thank you enough for everything in really helping my confidence as a composer.
Over the next couple months Im going to start posting much of the music Ive written for both Necro Hunt and Elynthi. I just wanted to start 2024 with a rearrangement of the first thing I ever worked on for JoCat. A look back on where Ive come thanks to him, and a look forward to what Ive been doing thanks to him.
