It's hard to miss the towering steeple of the "Town Clock Church" in downtown New Albany. The Second Baptist Church, built in 1852, has a very interesting history. It was a pivotal point in the Underground Railroad, the escape route of the enslaved from Kentucky seeking freedom in the north in the mid-1800s.
