Oh Hi! I bring you the VidCon 2018 virtual experience for all of you who wished you could attend but for some reason could not. I agree, going to VidCon if you do not live in the area is pricey but I am glad I was fortunate enough to be able to experience it for myself.
VidCon is one of those things that you think is going to be one thing but it ends up being another. Maybe it is just me but making a daily vlog of the event is a challenge; there is a lot of repetitive things which would be boring for a viewer. Or maybe I just stink at vlogging (probably the latter). However it is a great place to meet other small youtubers and larger creators alike. Also I learned a lot from the 9 or 10 hour long panels I attended over the three days. Everything from creating a better channel to how YouTube audiences think and current trends.
Saw Philip DeFranco, Jacksfilms, Casey Neistat, Freddie Wong and a whole bunch of other creators I like in real life. It is cool at first but the screaming gets old really fast.
All in all, I realized that at this point in time I am happy being a small creator so I can learn more and remain semi-incognito.
